Pine Street Favicon

Music is an integral part of worship at Pine Street. With this in mind, we offer a choir program for children through adults.

The Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir is the foundation of the music ministry leading worship at the 10:00 am service each Sunday. The choir is composed of volunteers and paid section leaders committed to serving Christ through music, trusting God to bless their efforts of service and dedication. In addition, the choir presents an annual Festival of Lessons and Carols service each year with orchestral accompaniment and other services throughout the year. Participation is a rewarding experience and is open to amateur and professional singers. The voices of children, handbells, and instrumental music fill the Sanctuary with joyful sounds regularly.

Rehearsals are on Thursdays from 7:00 – 9:00

The Handbell Ensemble

The Handbell Ensemble plays an eclectic repertoire of handbell music which is both fun and challenging. High Schoolers and adults are warmly welcome to play in this group. It is an evening of good music and good fellowship around the bells. They play in worship about once a month.

The Church School Singers

Children in grades K through 5 are encouraged to make Church School Singers a part of their regular Church School experience each week. A group of dedicated adult volunteers rotate to teach the children our best-loved church and Bible songs, like Jesus Loves Me, Father Abraham, Hallelu Hallelu Hallelujah, and more. These songs were a part of many of our faith formation, teaching us about the church, the Bible, and the world. We want to pass these songs down to the next generation, so each teacher spends time each week making this music part of the children’s lives. All children are welcome!

Meets at 8:45 A.M.
