Around the church for May 23, 2023

Sunday Parking
On Sunday mornings we are able to reserve the spots right in front of the church on 3rd Street for handicapped parking. As our congregation is aging, there are many more people who could use these spaces than spaces available. We would ask that, if at all possible, these spaces be left for the people who would not be able to attend services if this parking was not available.

Take me out to the Ballpark!
Pine Street has been invited to join Market Square Presbyterian in their annual Picnic and Senators ballgame! Please see the information from Market Square for details. Please contact Beth Alwine to sign up (extended through May 30).

Please volunteer to help us feed the children
Pine Street and Downtown Daily Bread are launching a joint effort to serve lunches to school age children this summer. Lunches will be served at Pine Street on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30-12:30, from June 20 to August 10. Training will be provided, and assistance is available if needed for completing necessary clearances. Please consider helping out, and sign up at the Welcome Center!

Elders on Call
Matt will be out of town Friday, May 26th through Monday, May 29 celebrating his parents’ 70th birthdays. While he is away, Beth Alwine and Jane Hess will be serving as the Elders on Call. They should be contacted if any pastoral emergencies arise.

Note
The Church offices will be closed on Monday, May 29 in observance of Memorial Day.
