Congregational Meeting and Annual Report
After the conclusion of worship this Sunday, May 21, we will have a congregational meeting with two purposes.
1. The congregation will receive the Annual Report.
2. The congregation will act on a recommendation by the Congregational Nominating Committee regarding the selection of a new class of officers.
Please remain with us after worship for this short congregational meeting.

Stephen Ministry Sunday
This Sunday, we will be led in worship by our Stephen Ministers. Aspects of their important ministry will be incorporated into the worship service.
Stephen Ministry is a ministry of compassion and care-giving. Our Stephen Ministers visit with and care for those in our community who are grieving. Please join us as we hear about their significant work and as we thank God for the love we share with one another.
Pine Street Book Club
Pine Street Book Club will meet at 7 PM on Sunday, May 21, at the home of Alicelyn Sleber. Barbara Neff will review The Jane Austin Society by Natalie Jenner. Attendees should bring suggestions for next season’s book choices.

This Sunday, May 21, at 11:30 am, Kenneth Hays and Barbara Neff will present the second installment of Pine Street’s Lunch and Learn series. The topic will be The Architecture of Pine Street Presbyterian Church: The First 60 Years. Lunch is included, and all are welcome. If you have not yet signed up but meant to, please call the church office today and leave a message including your name and how many will be attending. Donations will be accepted to help cover the cost of the meal.
Matt Away for Continuing Education
Matt will be out of the office until May 19 for the annual Festival of Homiletics. He will still be available by email to respond to any pastoral needs that may arise.
Current COVID Procedure
Pine Street Presbyterian Church will follow CDC guidelines to ease masking requirements and allow in-person gatherings, including food. While Dauphin and Cumberland Counties are in the low or medium community levels (according to the CDC’s “COVID-19 by County” page found at:
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/covid-by-county.html). Masks will be optional for all Pine Street events, including worship. Session and staff will monitor the community levels and change health and safety guidelines if the local counties are high. Worshipers are welcome to wear masks if that helps them feel comfortable in worship.
