Adult Forums

This year marks the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, one of the decisive movements in Christian history. The Rev. Dr. David True, Professor of Religion at Wilson College, will teach a series on this monumental event of Western civilization, Three Keys of Reformed Faith, on the following Sundays:

August 6 – Reforming Worship

The Protestant Reformation is sometimes said to boil down to a debate about the sacraments. We’ll consider the different viewpoints and what they suggest for us today.

August 13 – Reforming the Life of Faith

We’ll revisit the Reformation’s startling consequences for the shape and content of the Christian life.

August 20 – Reforming Society

We’ll consider the different visions of society and politics that emerged in the Reformation and their relevance today.

August 13

Summer Sing Choir

A choir for every singer in the church. We will gather at 9:15 a.m. in the choir room, first on July 9 and then again on August 13. We will learn two simple songs that need no prior preparation. No sign-ups are necessary. Join us!
